The Worlds only Supercharged Watercar Panther. This is one of the few exclusive upgrades done to this Custom 2016 WaterCar.
Benefits of a Supercharged WaterCar:
1. The Honda engine, while a great engine was underpowered to be able to get on plane at full capacity without any performance upgrades. With the supercharger, it can get on plane no matter how much weight you put in the car and it does it with ease.
2. It is much faster on the water (currently 53 MPH with a full tank of gas). I believe I can get another 1-2 mph out of it.
3. Smiley Autowerks estimates that this car produces around 500 HP!
4. Much more enjoyable ride (my favorite feature). I coupled the engine upgrade with a taller reduction gear. 8% rather than the stock 28%. This makes for a much quieter and more enjoyable ride on the water. To stay on plane this amazing amphibious vehicle pushes around 3500 RPM as opposed to the stock WaterCar that pushes around 5000 RPM.

- 2019 fully rebuilt Honda 3.7 Engine with a Rotex Supercharger putting out an estimated 500+/- hp
- 2018 Transaxle upgrade with all 4 gears replaced with stronger and taller gears. Double seals also installed to keep water out.
- 2018 Reduction Transfer Case was upgraded from the 28% case to the 8% case resulting in faster & quieter rides on the water
- 2018 rebuild of the jet – bronze housing upgrade for tighter prop tolerances.
- Custom built Air to Water Intercooler using the lake water which feeds VERY cool air into the engine. This means more power and is much safer for the engine.
- Exclusive tow pylon with integrated anchor light (exclusive feature to this car)
- Upgraded to the AEM Infinity 7 series ECU ($2500 engine computer) that was custom tuned with engine protection sensors for safe operation.
- Tuned to run on E85, however, can be tuned for pump gas
- Front radiator install for cool operation both on and off the water
